This was a holographic mapping projection show held in the framework of the Open House at the Icesi University (Cali, Colombia) in 2019, one of the most important Universities in the city. The idea of this project was to show the benefits of studying in this University in an innovative way. 12 projections of 6 minutes were made with an attendance of 100 spectators per function.
The contents of this project were made by a team of five people: one creative director, one 2D motion designer, one 2D & 3D motion designer, one editor and one performance actress. We used an holographic sheet of 4 meters wide and 5 meters high on which the content was projected, and on the back of it was an actress performing the interactive performance. For this project, Illustrator was mainly used for the 2d design, alongside with After Effects with plugins such as Trapcode and Stardust to perform particle simulation and 2d animation. Cinema 4d was used for specific tasks such as the creation of the earth and the video interface, game and 3d objects such as the brain and the skeleton.
